Why a blend and not one herb
Ašič's blends are not single herbs but compositions set down in a recipe. Father Simon Ašič recorded which herbs belong together and in what proportion, and we still blend by those notes.
The names come in two kinds. The abbreviations ending in SIT, such as BebeSIT, HepaSIT and DiaSIT, mark blends for a particular area. Descriptive names, such as the House Tea or the Family Tea, are blends for everyday use.
The composition and the brewing method are given with every product. Tea is a food and is no substitute for seeing a doctor.
