About this product
The Family Tea is a blend of six mild herbs in which none dominates: rosehip, lime blossom, blackberry leaf, camomile flower, lemon balm leaf and peppermint leaf. All of them are among the mildest in Ašič's collection, so the tea suits the whole family and everyday drinking.
Father Simon Ašič recommended it as a house tea for the cold months; folk tradition has long used lime, elder and rosehip when a cold is about.
Preparation: Pour 3 decilitres of boiling water over two teaspoons of the blend. Leave it covered for 10 minutes, then strain. Drink it freshly made, several times a day, within 2 hours of brewing.
The blend comes in a 50 g bag, which is enough for two to three weeks of daily drinking. The herbs are dried and blended in the Father Simon Ašič Herbal Pharmacy at Stična, to the original recipe, and the composition is set out in per cent below the description. Tea is no substitute for a varied diet or for treatment; in illness, ask a doctor or a pharmacist.
