Description
About this product
MenoSIT is a blend of five herbs led by black cohosh rhizome at 30 %, with lady's mantle, yarrow, wild thyme and sage leaf alongside it. It is the only blend in the collection with black cohosh and sage. The taste is herbal and slightly bitter.
Father Simon Ašič recommended this blend to women at the menopause, with hot flushes, sweating and restlessness. In folk tradition sage has long been used where sweating is excessive. Ask a pharmacist about drinking it over a longer period, above all alongside medicines.
Preparation: Pour 3 decilitres of boiling water over two teaspoons of the blend. Leave it covered for 10 minutes, then strain. Drink it freshly made, several times a day, within 2 hours of brewing.
The blend comes in a 50 g bag, which is enough for two to three weeks of daily drinking. The herbs are dried and blended in the Father Simon Ašič Herbal Pharmacy at Stična, to the original recipe, and the composition is set out in per cent below the description. Tea is no substitute for a varied diet or for treatment; in illness, ask a doctor or a pharmacist.
