Description
About this product
Proti celulitu is a blend of five herbs, a fifth each: parsley root, birch leaf, nettle leaf, elderflower and camomile flower. The taste is mild, faintly sweet from the elder.
Father Simon Ašič wrote it down for women who wanted to encourage the elimination of water alongside a change of diet and exercise; birch, nettle and parsley were traditionally used for that. The name is his and promises nothing the tea cannot do: cellulite remains a matter of diet, exercise and heredity. The Slovenian name is kept because it is his.
Preparation: Pour 3 decilitres of boiling water over two teaspoons of the blend. Leave it covered for 10 minutes, then strain. Drink it freshly made, several times a day, within 2 hours of brewing.
The blend comes in a 50 g bag, which is enough for two to three weeks of daily drinking. The herbs are dried and blended in the Father Simon Ašič Herbal Pharmacy at Stična, to the original recipe, and the composition is set out in per cent below the description. Tea is no substitute for a varied diet or for treatment; in illness, ask a doctor or a pharmacist.
