Herbs for resilience

The blends and preparations people here reach for when the seasons turn and while they are getting their strength back. Father Ašič recommended them to patients recovering, to the elderly and to children.

The Ašič approach

Which herbs, and why

The base is plants rich in vitamin C, and bitters: rosehip, nettle, echinacea and yarrow. Rosehip and nettle are the pair that appears most often in Ašič's notes for the times when the body needs more.

The same plants are in the tea and in the drops. The tea is drunk over a longer period and is milder; the drops are more concentrated and measured to the instructions.

How to use them

Practical, no promises

Strengthening teas are traditionally drunk for a few weeks at a time, not right through the winter without a break.

These products are no substitute for a varied diet, sleep and exercise, nor for vaccination or treatment with prescribed medicines.

With a high fever, difficult breathing, or a fever lasting several days, see a doctor.

Frequently asked questions

What people ask about Immune system

Which tea is traditionally drunk for resilience?

Most often blends with rosehip and nettle. The composition is given with every product, with the percentages and the Latin names.

When should I start drinking it?

People usually start as the seasons turn or while getting their strength back. A herbal tea is not a vaccine and does not prevent infection.

Is it suitable for children?

Some blends are and others are not. Warnings are given with every product; ring the pharmacist and say the age of the child.

How long can I drink it?

Traditionally for shorter periods, with breaks in between. If you do not feel better, see a doctor.

What is the difference between the tea and the drops?

The plants are the same and the form is different. The drops are more concentrated and are measured to the instructions on the pack.
