About the books
From a note to a recipe
Father Simon Ašič wrote about plants for decades: where they grow, when they are gathered and what they were traditionally used for. His handbooks are the source of most of what the pharmacy holds today.
The books are also the reason we can print, for every product, what it is made of and in what proportion. The recipes were not newly devised. They were copied out.
