Urinary tract infection: the herbal pharmacy's answer

Published 1 min read

UroSIT

Customer's question

I often feel pressure to pass water, and it burns. Is there a tea that helps?

The pharmacist's answer

A burning feeling when passing water is a sign worth showing to a doctor, especially if it keeps coming back; an unrecognised infection of the urinary tract can travel upwards, and by then it is no longer a matter for a tea.

Besides that: drink plenty. This is not a phrase; for the urinary tract, flushing is what does the most.

For mild urinary trouble, nettle leaf is traditionally used, which supports the excretory function of the kidneys. Here it is in the blends UroSIT and VodaSIT.

Alongside an antibiotic you can drink them as well, not instead, and do not stop the antibiotic early.
