Trouble sleeping: the herbal pharmacy's answer

Published 1 min read

Trouble sleeping

Customer's question

In the evening I cannot get to sleep for a long time, and in the night I wake several times. Could a tea help?

The pharmacist's answer

If sleeplessness lasts for several weeks, it is worth speaking to your doctor about it; the cause is often something a tea does not reach.

For restlessness before sleep, valerian, lemon balm and hops are traditionally used in folk tradition. Here they are in the blend NočSIT, which calms and supports relaxation before sleep, and in Valerian Drops and Good Night Drops.

Drink a cup some thirty to forty minutes before bed, not just before it, or a trip to the toilet will wake you.

If you take sleeping tablets or sedatives, talk to your doctor or pharmacist before drinking it regularly.
