About this product
Ašič's home-made apple cider vinegar is an unfiltered vinegar from the juice of Slovenian apples, which first ferments into cider and then turns to vinegar. Because it is not filtered it is cloudy, and a sediment known as the mother of vinegar settles at the bottom; shake before use. The taste is full and fruity-sharp.
Use: in salads, marinades and sauces, one or two spoonfuls to a salad, or diluted with water as a refreshing drink, a spoonful to a glass. Keep cool once opened.
The vinegar is made from Slovenian apples at Stična Abbey, to the recipe of Father Simon Ašič, who counted apple cider vinegar among the basics of a home kitchen. Keep cool and dark; the sediment at the bottom is natural. Do not drink it undiluted.
Use
In salads, marinades and sauces. One or two spoonfuls to a salad, or diluted with water as a refreshing drink. Keep cool once opened.
