Customer's question
My daughter has psoriasis and her skin itches badly, especially in winter. Do you have anything that would at least soothe the skin?
Psoriasis is a disease managed by a dermatologist, and nothing below replaces that. What we can do is help with dry skin, which winter makes worse.
For the care of dry skin, calendula, lady's mantle and comfrey are traditionally used in the form of ointments, and oat and mallow preparations in baths. Their role is to moisturise and soothe, nothing more.
Here you will find Calendula Ointment and Pure Powdered Clay for compresses.
What often helps more than a product: shorter, lukewarm showers instead of hot ones, applying cream straight after the shower to skin that is still damp, and cotton rather than wool directly on the skin.
If the skin becomes inflamed, cracks, or a discharge appears, that is for a doctor, not for an ointment.
