Insomnia is a psychophysiological sleep disorder in which we cannot fall asleep or sleep normally. It can cause trouble with concentration and learning, and can also raise the risk of an accident in road traffic. It is a serious disorder connected with a lowered quality of life for the individual, an increased risk of mental disorders and other health problems, and a significant negative risk for the immune system.
